Mariama Bah
Owner
Mariama Bah is Guinean-American and a self-care enthusiast! She was born in Washington, DC, spent her teenage years in Maryland, and is a proud Morgan State University graduate. While on a staycation in the mountains of Virginia, she was inspired to create a candle and lifestyle brand that is dedicated to self-care routines. While on her own self-awareness journey, she wanted to create a brand that could help others formulate routines as they seek to connect with self. As someone who has always loved mixing different fragrances, scents, and perfumes this was a natural next step for her.

Their initial encounter blossomed into a beautiful friendship over the years. In June of 2022, Mariama unveiled Day 7 Candle Co., supported by her close-knit community. Leveraging Edna's innate flair for decor, the launch party drew an enthusiastic crowd of family and friends, marking the inception of their promising venture as potential business partners. Edna handles day-to-day activities, candle prep, and all event coordination for Day 7.
